Who we are
This is the website of Seyma Driving School, run by Seyma, a driving instructor teaching in Chingford, Loughton, Wanstead and nearby. You can reach her by WhatsApp or phone on 07935 755151.
The enquiry form
The “Message on WhatsApp” form does not send anything to this website and nothing you type is stored here. It writes a WhatsApp message on your own device, and you decide whether to send it.
If you send it, Seyma receives what you wrote (your name, area, driving experience and availability) in WhatsApp, and uses it only to reply to you and arrange your lessons.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies unless you accept analytics cookies. Your answer to the cookie question is remembered in your browser’s local storage (an entry called sds-analytics-consent), so you are not asked on every visit.
Google Analytics, only if you accept
If you press “Accept analytics cookies”, the site loads Google Analytics, which tells us how many people visit, which pages they look at, roughly where they are (town or city, not your address), what kind of device they use, and whether they tapped the WhatsApp or call buttons. It does not tell us who you are.
Google Analytics then sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_Y35MRWPQNZ, which last up to two years unless you remove them. Advertising features and Google signals are switched off. Google LLC provides this service and processes the information on our behalf.
If you press “Reject analytics cookies”, nothing is loaded from Google and no cookies are set.
Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time: . If you reject after accepting, Analytics is switched off and its cookies are deleted.
Where the website is hosted
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub receives your IP address when your browser loads a page. Fonts and images are served from this website; nothing else is loaded from other companies.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what information Seyma holds about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to how it is used. Message or call the number above. If you are not happy with the answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
